The Moose has reopened!

But there are restrictions.

We're happy to announce that Indoor Dining at the Lodge has begun. Outdoor Dining will continue as well. The server will come outside to check on patrons who may not feel comfortable coming inside. The kitchen will open beginning Friday, September 11th, with an abbreviated menu, available as a PDF on the home page of this website. Hours will be limited to Fridays, 5-9pm and Saturdays, 3-8pm.

We look forward to seeing everyone back at the lodge but request that you adhere to the following guidelines, most set forth by the State Dept. of Health, to keep yourself, your Moose brothers and sisters, and our staff safe.

NJ State Safety Guidelines

  • If you have a fever, cough or any COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home.

  • Indoor Dining will be limited to 25% capacity of the building. (We estimate our total capacity to be about 170, so 43 people at one time.)

  • Please wear a mask when going inside the building.

  • Please try to maintain at least 6-feet of separation between you and others while waiting in line to use the lavatories.

  • Please maintain 6-feet of separation between you and other parties.

  • Please clean/disinfect your own area when leaving.

  • Group dining capacity is capped at eight individuals with exceptions for immediate family. Groups of diners seated at bars are capped at four individuals.

  • Staff will wear masks and disinfect shared surfaces.

  • Diners must wear masks when not in their seats and can order only while seated. You cannot, for example, walk to the bar to order another drink. You should also keep masks on while waiting for food.

  • The town noise ordinance is 10pm and requires that we close at 11pm. We want to be good neighbors!

  • Please refrain from profanity while outside!

Your dues must be current

Many members have not renewed their dues, possibly because of not being able to visit the Social Quarters. Know that your dues benefit both the Lodge and Moose International. Your dues must be current in order to purchase alcohol. Our servers will be checking membership cards to ensure everyone is in compliance.

If these guidelines are too onerous for you, we ask that you not visit until restrictions are relaxed. The Lodge must accommodate all members, regardless of an individual’s specific viewpoint on the current situation. We’re all in this together, so for the sake of everyone involved, we ask that you respect these decisions.

Thank you, stay well, and we look forward to seeing you at the Lodge!
